It's not really goodbye. . . . .

How do I post an appropriate blog about my sweetheart? Impossible. Let's just say. . .he was/is the most incredible husband, father and Papa anyone can imagine. He said goodbye on July 11th. He fought ALS with faith, dignity, grace, patience and kindness. I will try to follow his example as I go forward, one step at a time.

"Rise and Shout, the Cougar is out". . . . . .

He was loving this part. Be patient, it's a 4 min. video and gets going at 1.20. Enjoy!

You said it just right. I knew you would. Thanks for being such a great example to me of how I should live my life. You and Cris set the bar so high, it's gonna be tough.

So I guess it's time to start blogging again. You talk to Memzy and make her do it, K?

PS. I know I wasn't supposed to, but I teared-up during that fight song.

Carol,

I heard of Chris' passing and I just wanted to let you know I've thought so much about you and your family. I have always just loved the two of you and hope that you will have much peace and comfort during this time. It's such a blessing knowing families are forever.

love, Lisa Cutler (McClintock)

I teared up during the fight song too! You are truly an amazing woman, full of life and fight and this little video clip really shows it.

I am so sorry I am in the middle of the country instead of at home where I belong so I could have been there to show you my support.

Little Meg misses you, and hear, hear! on the call of the blog.

You can add uncle to the "most incredible" list.

The Cougar fight song was perfect--made me tear-up and smile at the same time.

Can't wait to see you at the reunion soon! We hope you are doing well. Love you!

Shoot, I can't get the video to play (keeps saying "try again later") but I can only imagine. What a loss and yet how much we've all gained from his life! I continue to pray for you and your family in your rebuilding.
