Let's start with the ugly. The "before" picture of Becca's piano bench. It's seen better days--bottom falling out, legs wobbly and ready to collapse, lid--let's just say--U-G-L-Y!! After perusing some of Landee's makeover websites, I decided this would be easy peasy. Eight small l-brackets and several additional wood pieces and TA-DA. Solid as a rock.
I present to you--the finished product. MUCH better thank you very much.

Her face is the best part of that video. Cuz you can see that she knows something is wrong and did something bad, but she doesn't wanna say. Like, maybe you were talking about the crumbs on the floor or something. Hilar!
"Yeah well, good luck with that." <---hahahah! You're hilarious. It only took about 3 tries but you did finally get a commitment out of her to never write on Gramma's walls again. I'm sure she'll keep her promise too. It seemed genuine with that line of marker going down her chin.
Oh, and look at you with your power tools and huge clamps and what not! But to truly fit in with all those craft blogs you now need to modge podge pages out of books the legs and add a completely over-the-top ruffled cushion! I'm telling you, some of those crafters don't know when to stop.
wow, you don't even need Rob to fix things anymore...You rock!! Miss you!
haha...yeah. That's a fun age. Tara's little boy is a trip! He can make you feel that he sincerely regrets drawing all over Patty's bedspread, for example. Or destroying Krystina's make-up, or squeezing Tara's lip gloss out of the tube and running it through his hair (multiple times--he's done that with 3 tubes, I believe).
Looks like you need to start your own DIY show. "Crafting with Carol" or "Parks Projects". You go girl.
Her eyes are like two frozen lakes. She get those from you? Thought so. What strong genes you have, AV.
I buy permanent markers, so I have to actually paint over stuff like that. But I kind of miss Homer's name scrawled down the hallway wall.
